Policies and Guidelines

Below are some Rules, Policies, Guidelines, and Tips to ensure your visit with us is a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

  • Practice often. 3-5 times per week is recommended for rapidly building a strong practice.

  • Arrive 5-10 minutes early for warm-up exercises. Please arrive on time, doors will close 15 min after class starts.

  • Don’t over do it, especially in the beginning. Respect your current body condition.

  • Check your progress so that you can move to the next level. THC offers a complimentary 30 min session with the Manager every month. You can schedule your session at the front desk.

  • Practice your home exercises daily. It takes time to change old habits.

  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows for full range of motion.

  • Refrain from eating heavily 1-2 hours before class.

  • Please remove shoes before walking on the yoga studio floor.

  • We recommend you bring your own yoga mat, wooden pillow, & water bottle for sanitary reasons.

  • Please silence or turn off your cell phone.

  • We recommend you take your valuables, i.e. wallets and purses, inside the studio.

  • Please refrain from wearing strong perfumes or colognes during class.

  • Notify the instructor of any injuries or medical conditions, i.e. If you are pregnant, the instructor will give alternative postures.

  • If you are leaving class early, let the instructor know beforehand.

  • Support your practice by taking Chakra Workshops and Private Sessions.

  • THC offers dietary consultation.  Contact front desk to inquire.

  • Please join Tao Basic for 1 hour as a mandatory class. It explains the basic principles and practices  of Tao and can greatly enhance your experience in class.
