Tao Meridian Healing Training
Meridians are energy pathways in the body. The body’s vital energies (“Ki” or “Chi”) flow through these pathways and sustain our daily activities. Our thoughts and habits directly influence the flow of ki in our bodies. There are fourteen meridians; each one nourishes, maintains and supports a particular organ system. When Ki is weak or its flow is blocked, our organ system becomes imbalanced and we feel unwell physically & emotionally and confused spiritually.
Meridian Healing is an act of transmitting loving energy to others that can be compared to the unconditional affection and devotion between a parent and child. It is the most potent healing power in the world. In a modern world that is often competitive and individualistic, Meridian Healing teaches that by helping others, you can help yourself. Those who bestow Meridian Healing on others with love and care not only help them to heal, but they also purify their own bodies and minds.
In Meridian Healing, you will learn about chakras, meridian lines and acupressure points. You will learn to heal through various rhythms and pressures. Guided imagery or visualization is often added to allow further relaxation or movement of energy to and through pressure points. Meridian Healing can be performed lying on a massage table or floor or sitting on the chair. One can also learn Meridian Healing as a self-care strategy, utilizing the techniques any time it is desired.
Giving and receiving healing energy can help us create positive energy. It heals the giver as well as the receiver, allowing for our own natural healing while we heal others. It not only treats pain, but also adds vibrancy to life.
